I got excited about the idea of doing a Kickstarter to launch my cards when I saw two different beautiful card decks launched on Kickstarter a few years ago — The Oriens Animal Tarot by Ambi Sun raised $124,000 AU and Mystic Mondays by Grace Duong raised $30,000 US. After their successful campaigns Oriens Animal Tarot was published by Rockport Publishing and Mystic Mondays was published by Chronicle Books. They are now available all over the world.

 

These were the first decks that I saw that spoke to my design sensibilities. They inspired me both to create my deck and dream big with my vision for the Modern i Ching cards.
